Streetbees Mood-of-the-World
Streetbees Mood of the World reveals people's mind state in real time, in 45+ countries.
- The bees describe their mood in their own words, in their own language. What they write is collected in a realtime data stream and translated, interpreted and classified by Streetbees' Machine Learning technology platform which has been specifically developed to be as accurate as possible in classifying human emotions expressed in natural language.
- Over 50k bees currently respond each week, with the sample being representative of each country's population and weighted on age and gender. The margin of error of a sample of this size globally is within +/- 2%, at a 95% confidence level. This means that 19 times out of 20, the figures will be within 2% of the ‘true’ answer if you interviewed the entire population.
- The data for each period shown is for the 14 days leading up to that point. The data is continually collected and processed, with the visualisation shown here being updated every day. More detail, and many more visualisations are available within the Streetbees' dashboard tools.
- The moods shown are a slice of the 'Mood Ontology' that Streetbees has developed for the representation and analysis of human mood and emotions. This slice includes 20 moods covering the major 7 emotional groups.
